Had a cat, unfortunately deceased, who bit cactus till those died and the pricks fell off, then he just chewed it

If you are dumb enough to stand there and take a picture while your cat hurts itself you might as well bite the cacti along with the cat! That is too cruel and could seriously harm a cat's internal digestive system!

responce to gordon: yes they are smart and cats don't do something on purpose like that if they got hurt. My cat actually eats the cactus bits I give him as a treat.

i studied plants in tech and as you can see, it is a furred cactus, and those are not spines, but very brittle hairs coming from the cactus
