ok what had happend was ... we were giving him his monthly flee bath and he went to jump out and my sister tried to grab him outta mid air and he caught the faucet i took this pic before she could get her other hand in there...
where do you live that your cat would need a MONTLY flea bath? I've never given my cats or my dogs a flea bath! I don't think the pic is cruel by the way just wondering!

In the long run your doing him a favor giving him a flea and tick bath. them nasty buggers can give a cat all kinds of illness. Not your fault if he doesn't like it. He's a cat he'll be over it by the time you fill his food dish.

It's fine to give a cat a bath... but you shouldn't do it in a bathtub, geez... Try using the kitchen sink and don't fill it with water... simply get them wet with water, lather, rinse them off and it's a lot less stressful than to put a poor kitty into a huge bathtub filled with water. Some people just can't get a clue...

Irm, this is not cruel, giving your cat flea control is being a responsible owner. Although, I would suggest Frontline or Advantage instead. You just put the medicine on the backs of the cat and they're done! Although, one of my cats still make a whole production out of it.
