Lolcats.com was launched 14-Jun-06 as the first website dedicated entirely to funny cat pictures, and founded the phrase "lolcats". Since then it has risen to an internet phenomenon having media coverage all over the world including The Daily Mail and Time magazine. Unfortunately I find myself unable to spare the time to maintain and update lolcats.com and feel it deserves a better home!
